Working on real projects, you could be conducting experiments to test new equipment or new techniques, building prototypes using new technologies, or developing software to analyse and solve problems. After two years, you’ll choose a specialist area and by the end of your apprenticeship you’ll be on your way to becoming an expert in your chosen field.
